Hap Klopp
Hap Klopp was the founder and CEO of The North Face which he eventually sold to VF Corp in 1999 and has since been involved in several board of directors and entrepreneurial business ventures. He is currently a Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Hult IBS, lectures at various graduate business schools including Stanford, UCB, Carnegie Mellon, MIT and USF. He serves as Executive Chairman of Cocona Inc., a producer of advanced materials for the sport and apparel industry, and Reviv Genetics, a health and wellness company utilizing genome analytics to develop therapies. His work also extends to directorships at Ardica Technologies, a maker of fuel cell power applications, Canterbury of New Zealand, a rugby-inspired global sport clothing company and Obscura Digital a digital marketing and data visualization company acquired by Madison Square Garden in 2017. Hap has published three business books and speaks at conferences around the world for industry associations and corporate events. Hap met Kevin in 2017, and they became friends and worked together on the first version of Explorations Ventures (EV1.0) in 2018 until moving on at the end of Q1 2019, remaining close friends since then. Hap joined EAC in 2021.
